Grown Up Digital

In Grown up Digital, Don Tapscott introduces the idea of the new Net Generation. The generation that is accustomed to technology such as internet and wi-fi and also as he puts it "VCR's" (Whatever that is... ;)...). His introduction also has insight from people who feel how the new generation of technology has greatly hurt our generation as a whole and labeled us as dumb, or anxious.

I disagree with those who oppose new technology and to state that they themselves are dumb if they can't work the internet. I feel that our generation is stronger than any other generation there ever was and I also feel that the next generation will be even stronger.

Lastly, Don Tapscott warned our generation to withhold on giving out our information and pictures on the web... I partially agree with him with the fact that your prospective boss doesn't need to find a picture of you engulfing the porcelain throne because of too much to drink when he/she is doing research on her prospective employee. But, I also disagree because those scandalous pictures of us can be blocked from public viewing with an easy click of your mouse.
